The Riverbay Corporation Coop City Groundsman position pays $17.47 per hour and is a 32BJ union job.
Job Description:
Responsible for the day to day duties in the landscaping, maintenance and general upkeep of Co-op City grounds and green spaces.
Responsibilities include basic ground keeping duties such as planting flowers, trees and shrubs, weeding, fertilizing, mowing, cutting hedges, general lawn and nursery care and seasonal duties including snow removal.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent is a plus.
Working knowledge of grounds equipment, tools and materials.
Ability to walk for long periods of time, twist, kneel, push, stoop, climb ladders, work in inclement weather as well as lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
Must be available for emergency work.
Bi-Lingual is a plus.
