Coop City Job Ref #: 17-17, Painter / Plasterer Helper - Co-op City Riverbay Restoration Department
This Riverbay Corporation Coop City Painter / Plasterer Helper position pays $15.00 per hour and is a DC9 union job.
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting the Painters / Plasterers within the Co-op City community and assisting in their daily duties such as using, supplying or holding materials or tools and clearing work areas and equipment.
Work in public spaces, vacant and occupied apartment units conducting restoration work which includes, but not limited to, assisting with plastering, painting, block work and popcorn ceilings.
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent is a plus.
Valid CDL Driver's License (NY, NJ, CT or PA)
Must have 2 to 3 years experience driving non-commercial box trucks.
Must have working knowledge of materials, methods and hand tools in painting and plastering.
1 - 3 years of experience in painting and plastering.
Must be available for emergency work.
Must have the ability to walk for long periods of time, twist, kneel, push, stoop, climb ladders, work in inclement weather; as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Days and Hours:
Will vary on a flexible schedule.
