Co-op City Shareholders Asked To Confirm Hall Closet Information
The Riverbay Parking and Leasing Department has identified 575 locked hall closets throughout Co-op City for which there are no lease records. Many of these locked closets contain personal items, but since Riverbay Corporation has no record of who has been using these closets for storage, there is no way of knowing for sure who these stored items belong to. As the first step to properly leasing these closets to any Coop City shareholders who might have use for them, the Riverbay Co-op City Parking and Leasing Department is notifying the community about which locked closets are currently not leased and unaccounted for. Co-op City shareholders who are using a closet on the list below have until May 12, 2017 to contact the Riverbay Parking and Leasing Department to confirm their information. After May 12, 2017, Riverbay will begin the task of drilling out the locks on all these unclaimed closets, discarding any items found inside and then leasing the emptied closets to shareholders on the waiting lists. In addition to being published in the Co-op City Times, the complete list of affected closets is also posted on the wall outside of the Riverbay Parking and Storage Department in room 24 of the Bartow Community Center, and in all Co-op City building lobbies and garages.
